Srinivas Gadikoppula is appointed as Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon to North Middlesex University NHS in 2007. He qualified in India in 1991 and took higher surgical training in trauma and orthopaedics in both India and The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (Stanmore).

Mr Gadikoppula has more that 15 years experience in trauma and general orthopaedics both at junior and senior level, acquiring valuable diagnostic and wide surgical experience. He has worked with several senior orthopaedic and shoulder surgeons in NHS and developed both open and anthroscopic (key hole surgery) skills with good outcomes.

Special Interests

Upper Limb Surgery - Open and arthroscopic surgery of shoulder, complex upper limb trauma surgery, elbow and hand surgery (elbow arthroscopy, tennis elbow release, ulnar nerve decompression, carpal tunnel and dupuytrens release).

Lower Limb Surgery - Primary, complex primary hip and knee replacement, unicompartmental knee replacement, arthroscopic knee surgery and foot and ankle surgery (bunion surgery, metatarsal osteotomy and toe deformity correction).

Mr Gadikoppula strongly believes in multidisciplinary approach to management of orthopaedic conditions and works very closely with physiotherapists, occupational therapists and general practioners.

In his spare time, he enjoys cricket, table tennis and shuttle badminton.
